FITZ
"Fitzsimmons"

Fitz is a 15.0 blue roan and came to live with us when he was 2 years old..  He was born into one of the wild herds of Nokota's on the Kuntz Ranch which is maintained by the Nokota Horse Conservancy in Linton, ND.   When he was a foal in the herd, he received an injury to his shoulder.  Fitz made the trip out west with Dog Soldier, one of our stallions, and they continue to have a very strong bond and friendship.  They are pasture mates and enjoy playing but Dog Soldier is very gentle with Fitz and respects his sensitive shoulder.   Fitz was named after Fitzsimmons, who was a famous Nokota many, many years ago.   Fitz is a sweet, loveable guy and he thinks it's pretty cool his best friend is a stallion!
